Even after reaching him with specially put together dossiers, both at his home and office(Link) and following it up with a letter after a month, (Link), the #MumbaiMetroMess team found that no response or  of any sort was forth coming from the  CM of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, even though he was of the same political party as Vinit and some other key team members of the #MumbaiMetroMess team. After a month rolled by and no response of any sort was forth coming from the new CM or his office, Vinit sent off the letter below to try and get Fadnavisji to initiate an independent investigation into the #MumbaiMetroMess ,by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) or the CBI.

#MumbaiMetroMessOn 2 January,2015,in reply to Vinit’s 4 December,2014 RTI Queries (Link), MMRDA provided him with a copy of the letter written by PIO Swapnil Pawar to Mr. Debasis Mohanty, Director MMPTL asking for his consent to release a copy of the Financial Closure Documents, signed on 14March,2001.(Link)They also gave him a copy of Mr.Mohanty’s reply where he declines to share the information requested, citing commercial confidence, taking the plea that there was no overwhelming public interest to override the damage doing so would do to the competitive position of MMPTL.
